The good, the bad, and the ugly….
We do not currently accept insurance.
Often, it is beneficial to ask about your ‘out of network’ benefits as insurance companies will often provide re-imbursement for therapy services. We can provide you with a superbill to provide to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Clients should be aware that by contracting with insurance it limits some of the freedoms associated with the services provided. For this reason, there are several benefits to private pay. Some of these benefits include: Greater freedom in treatment frequency, number of sessions allowed, and treatment modalities used. Extended privacy, as insurance companies frequently request detailed information about therapy sessions to justify payment. The ability to provide treatment without a mental health diagnosis in your medical file. Without a diagnosis, we can discuss a wider range of topics in sessions that are often not covered by insurance providers.
